本厂是北京科技大学专业研究、开发耐磨系列铸纲产品的实验工厂，是阳泉市首家系列生产耐磨铸钢（铸铁）及相关成套设备的专业生产企业，地处阳泉市盂县秀水镇桃园坪，距县城不足两公里，北靠太原到北京客运----盂县火车站，东邸太旧高速公路阳泉至盂县延伸线，交通便利。
本厂始建于1981年，全厂占地面积一万二千平方米，下设消失模、铸造、机械加工等车间。拥有1.5T 中频感应电炉两座，0.6T中频感应电炉一座、相关配套消失模、铸造、机加工起重运输。热处理设备80多台（套）。固定资产总值1100万元。设备工艺先进、技术力量雄厚、检测手段齐全，产品远销国内外众多用户。
本厂主要生产中小系列鄂式破碎机、锤式破碎机、球磨机、混泥碾、V、U型矿车、提升机、皮带运输机及相关耐磨配件和铲车、挖掘机、电铲（16立方米、10立方米、4立方米）配铲尖、斗齿、斗提梁以及各种铸造磨球近120多个品种。产品性能与进口同类产品相媲美。
